Magical Garden...Abbeys Bridal Shower II

Just wanted to show the cute garden set up from Abbey's Bridal Shower - Lace Brollies, floral tablecloths, pastel painted mason jars with pretty posies, lanterns sprinkled throughout trees, pretty bunting, even a little vintage bike covered in flowers....lots of champas, lovely food and laughter....want to do it all again!

Pastels, Peonies and a whole lot of Pretty! Abbeys Bridal Shower

Possibly the most Instagrammed Bridal Shower of 2013!! Well, there was too much Pastel Perfection going on at Abbeys Bridal Shower on the weekend that we simply had to share the deliciousness! Our popular and super cute rolling pin invitations set the theme for what was to be a dainty garden party in honour of our lovely bride to be Abbey.
The Maid of Honour and sister Alicia hosted this gorgeous soiree at her lovely home.  A floral decorated blackboard welcomed guests alongside a giant letter A and lace umbrellas/tissue poms on the lawn.
A gorgeous personalised pastel ribbon curtain led guests through to the living area/garden to the pastel extravaganza...where do I begin? A giant heart decorated with gold, ribbon and flowers was the backdrop for the amazing sweets table filled with personalised pastel 'A' and heart Cookies, mini Oreos covered in white chocolate and pastel ruffle toppers (a definate crowd pleaser) thanks to Sweet Table Melbourne, fluffy iced cupcakes, personalised chocolate bars, cake pops, tea party sugar cubes and the list goes on! Not to mention the amazing layer cake made by clever sis and ruffle cake by the lovely Marie of Couture Cupcakes.
We sipped on champagne and pink lemonade under lace umbrellas by the pool, nibbled on smoked salmon blinis, duck pancakes, fresh sambos and played games with the bride to be...then onto the living room to sip tea and eat our sweets (wich is what everyone was dying to do) whilst watching the excited bride to be open some amazing gifts....wow! what a day, oh did I mention guests took home their own little scented personalised candle & lolly bag too!....way too much excitement....countdown to the  Wedding!  xx
