Holiday Entertaining

A splash of lemon to celebrate our annual pre-chrissy dinner with friends. We cooked a simple bbq with Quinoa, cucumber & pistachio salad, fresh mangos & Apple Strudel...oh, not to forget the winning Egg Nog I made for cocktails....yum!

Recycled Wrapping

Scrolling through my recipes I came across a Donna Hay tip for wrapping which I decided to put into practice this year. A mix of newspaper & baking paper with some fab colourful tape/ribbon does the trick. Quite happy with the outcome:)

Made By Others

Finally got down to Moss Vale on the weekend to view all the beauty behind Made by Others. A gorgeous store filled with contemporary pieces from artists and designers around the globe. Their little cafe was a great distraction for my husband whilst I shopped up a storm...Definately add this one to the Southern Highlands 'To Do List'.

A Stunning addition to the Shire!! Finally!! The Old Library has opened and brings the best of food, design and modern eating to what the Southies have been pining for. Lets hope this sets the benchmark for more!

What a busy weekend! A gorgeous friends wedding Saturday and a Teddy Bear Picnic Sunday...A little picnic basket with treats for the kids to take home is super sweet!....Looking at these yawning bears is making me very sleepy!
