We took a drive down to the Gong yesterday, over the very modern Sea Cliff bridge through the little beachy towns of the south and found this uber cool caf /fashion store Lee and me in the heart of Wollongong on Crown St.

Cafe Bali

This cute as a button cafe in the heart of Seminyak, Bali was a great little chic retreat after a long shopping trip in the burning heat in 2008...love the mirror wall & placemats.

Hawaii 6-0

Our friend Brooke contacted us to organise some cute beach inspired bits and pieces to take to Hawaii for her dads 60th. These include:
Starfish place settings

A buri fan with personalised menu tied on with ribbon to sit on each guests plate
Beautiful soaps packaged for girls & little round shaped boxes filled with lollies for the boys & each personalised with the date & location as a constant reminder of the holiday.
We can't wait to see the birthday pics soon x

pink & mint wedding invitations

These pretty pastel pink & mint invites were hand dyed for my sisters wedding in 2001. The gustes names were written in hand caligraphy tied with a pastel pink organza ribbon. Inside reveals the details of the wedding, the rsvp & registry info on little pull out cards on the right and a little caption on the left reading "This day I will marry my friend...The one I laugh with, dream with live for & love". Today they have 2 boys & a girl & are still as happy as they were on their beautiful wedding day.

Berkelouw

Have you ever bought a book from Berkelouw? I bet you have and not taken note of the information on the paper bag you take it home in..Well, interestingly enough, the story tells the history of the Berkelouw family and something you might not know is back in 1812 when Solomon Berkelouw was making his way over a river to deliver some books, he slipped and died with the books dragging him under water, his son, continued his legacy and the rest of the story goes on to their success....worth a read.

Silver & white wedding

We love a little afternoon tea & invitation making. These are the product of a lovely soft white paper with throws of silver fixed to a white card stock. The bride & grooms name is tied on the front of the invite with white ribbon.
